Kruinies kuier op verhoog by ATKV

Leerders van Curro Heuwelkruin is tans in Roodepoort om hul slag op die verhoog tydens die jaarlikse ATKV-Tiener Toneelkompetisie te wys.

POLOKWNE – Die kompetisie word gehou met die oog daarop om ‘n liefde vir Afrikaanse toneelspel by hoërskoolleerders aan te wakker.

Die toneelstuk wat die Kruinies gaan opvoer is “De Bruyn se brein”, geskryf deur Braam van der Vyver. “De Bruyn se brein” handel oor die werkings van ‘n tienerseun se brein – van waar hy verlief is tot waar hy moet studeer vir ‘n biologietoets wat hy later in die stuk moet aflê.

Die hoofrol, Jos de Bruyn, is gespeel deur Arno Horn en sowat 16 ander dramaleerders vertolk die verskeie dele van sy brein en wat dié orgaan als beheer, onder andere die twee lobbe, neus, oë en ore, stem, en natuurlik gewete, gespeel deur Anje Dorfling.
