MOKOPANE – Various learners from 19 schools in the Mahwelereng and Potgietersrus circuit joined the career expo at the Mokopane Game Breeding Centre on Friday where they had the opportunity to take a look at different career options to consider after completing Gr 12.
About 350 learners walked through the stalls of businesses such as Limpopo Academy for Science and Technology (LIASTEC), National Zoological Gardens, Anglo American, Ivanplats, The South African Civil Aviation Authority(SACAA), Aveng Mining and Department of Agriculture Veterinary Services. LIASTEC’s Chairperson Moshitwana Lance Letsoalo, who was also the organiser of the event, said: “It is of utmost important to ensure that our young ones in the Mogalakwena Municipality are equipped with the knowledge to make clear and educated decisions when it comes to career choices.”
