Learners of Pietersburg Comprehensive School (PCS) celebrated the arrival of spring on Friday when they exchanged their school uniform for swimming costumes, totally forgot about books, bells and homework and just enjoyed loads of fun on an inflatable water slide.
The school’s educators and administrative staff planted flowers in the school garden and at the sport field as way of welcoming the new season.
Another highlight of the day was the Miss Spring pageant that saw Grade 5 learner Motswedi Pambo winning the title.
Headmaster Rudi Fick said it was good to see children having fun and that everyone was looking forward to a new season,” he added.
