POLOKWANE – They brought several snakes with them to teach the learners about the various snake species in South Africa and tell them which snakes are more dangerous than others.
In the videos, Chris and Howard show the learners how to handle snakes when working with them and they tell them more about the deadly black mamba.
“If you’re bitten by the black mamba, it will affect the nervous system so you will need to get immediate medical attention as you will have to be placed on a ventilator to help you breathe as your chest will start to close up within half an hour. They are the second longest venomous snake in the world and the longest in Africa,” Howard added.
