This year’s Valedictory Service was held at the Stanford Lake College Barnyard Theatre where the College met to wish the Class of 2017 a fond farewell.
Old Stanfordian and first ever ‘Shark Tank’ winner, Vusani Ravele returned to his alma mater as this year’s guest speaker. His inspirational talk on how to achieve success will live on in everyone’s memories. The emotional service finished with the Matrics’ customary ‘shoe donation’ ceremony, followed by the annual ‘Colour Bomb’ and final dash to the Lake where every Matric then dives in.
This tradition bookends a Stanfordians time at the College as it is the first thing they do as Grade 8s and the last they do as Matrics.
