Eurofurn Polokwane was packed to the rafters on Friday afternoon when hundreds of customers gathered at the store to witness a lucky draw where a chocolate hamper, television set, washing machine, coffee maker, refrigerator and – the grand prize – a brand new Kia Picanto could be won. There was also a designer headboard worth more than R10 000 up for grabs.
The competition ran from 1 September last year until 14:00 on Friday and customers received one entry in the competition for every R10 000 spent. On Black Friday, 24 November, last year customers received double entries for every R10 000 spent.
Capricorn FM ran a live broadcast of their Urban Lunch Experience programme with presenters Dee Nkomo and Itu Banda. The lucky draw was done live on air and the winners interviewed.
Agnes Ngobeni was the lucky winner of the car and thanked Eurofurn for the wonderful opportunity. “Not only are they the furniture store with the best service in town, they also go the extra mile for their customers and that is why I will always support them,” she said.
The other winners were Dingaan Mapaila who won the chocolate hamper and David Machimana who walked away with a coffee machine. Maria Letsoalo will watch television in style on her brand new CD screen, while the refrigerator went to Emmanuel Maboko.
The headboard went to lucky winner Maria Mokhomane.
