110mm of rain fell during Monday’s storm in Polokwane

More rain is expected in Polokwane for the rest of the week.

POLOKWANE – In a report released by the South African Weather Service, rainfall accumulated in Limpopo in a 24 hour period added up to 924mm.

Polokwane saw the fourth highest amount of rainfall with 110mm recorded in a storm which hit the city late on Monday afternoon.

More rain is expected for the rest of the week.
