A selected group of special guests enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration at Bolivia Lodge last Wednesday night when lodge management spoiled them rotten throughout the evening.
From the pomegranate flavoured welcome drinks to the beautiful gifts of roses and lavish décor it was clear that love was in the air at Bolivia Lodge.
Co-owner Dawie Botes welcomed guests and explained that the theme of the night was ‘Love’, but that this did not only mean romantic love, but also a brotherly love for the community. He reiterated Bolivia Lodge’s commitment to the people of Polokwane and encouraged guests to find ways to make a difference in others’ lives. “If every one of us can positively influence just one person, we can make Polokwane an even more peaceful and friendly place,” he said.
Mpho Rammabi, Marketing Manager at Bolivia Lodge, said it was a privilege to welcome the select group of guests to their Valentine’s Day celebrations. She also spoke very highly of the team who made the event possible and thanked each member of the personnel for their contributions.
“We started out very early this morning when the kitchen baked 200 cupcakes which we distributed to our clients and charitable organisations throughout the city. Our goal was to brighten up people’s day and to remind them that they are important to Bolivia Lodge,” she said.
“Then the team focused their attention on this evening’s celebrations and we thank them for the amazing job that they have done.”
Guests were treated to a sumptuous four-course meal that was topped off with strawberry cheesecake and a delectable pink Dom Pedro. There was also more than enough sparkling wine to go around, adding a festive flavour. Bolivia Lodge also offered a free Valentine’s Day photograph to guests in a photo booth specially set up and furnished for this occasion, while a live jazz band ensured excellent musical entertainment.
