The Youth Ministry of Church on the Hill (Coth) Polokwane is expected to launch their Youth Programme for 2018 on Saturday, promising a day filled with action packed outdoor activities, entertainment and words of wisdom.
Coth Polokwane stands under the leadership of Senior Pastors Vusi and Molatelo Mashabane and is one of 16 branches of Coth International in South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
Young people are welcome to attend this event free of charge from 09:00 to 17:00 where Nhlanhla Qwabe, Chief Human Resources Officer for MTN and Coth Durban Senior Pastor, Martin Banda, a Financial Advisor at FNB as well as Refilwe Mogale, Mrs South Africa 2017 finalists, and Tammy Taylor, businesswoman and mentor will engage with the youth.
There will also be performances by Coth’s own aspiring young artists and a motivational talk and guest performance by Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye.
The need to reach out to young people that are hurting and are affected by various social ills like drugs, alcohol, and unemployment was identified by the church and the aim of the Youth Ministry is to address these issues.
“The objective of the launch as well as the 2018 Programme is to establish a network of young people in the church and around Polokwane, provide an opportunity for the youth to interact through team building exercises such as educational programmes, entrepreneurship, spiritual and social activities,” says Coth pastor Vusi Mashabane in a media release. “We need to touch our generation in this year of revival.”
