“This is where I developed the idea of bringing together male artist because in most cases men are the perpetrators of such crimes against women and children,” said Lekgothoane.
He added bringing male artist together will help to make message the loud and clear to the world.
“A song is something that I believe can last for years, unlike marches which happen today and are forgotten tomorrow.”
He said because a song can still played in the coming decades, it will continue to serve as a reminder to the perpetrators of women and child abuse.
“This will serve as a lifetime reminder as it will continuously remind us we should stop with harassing, raping, killing and abusing women and children,” he said.
Lekgothoane added he believes changing society is in men’s hands because God has instilled in them the power to do so.
He told CV that the song is not for someone’s benefits, but only to benefit society at large.
“Any royalties of the song will go towards the cause.” He added they are happy with the support from the stakeholders and empowerment groups which deal with such crimes.
The music video comes a few months after the group released its Enough is Enough single which featured legendary artists such as Steve Kekana and Papsi Mlangeni.
