Principal shares her birthday blessings with learners

Nirvana Primary School principal, Thokozane Mhlongo turned 60 recently and decided to celebrate by giving each of the four learners who share her birthday a special gift.
Baloyi Tokollo (10), Dimpho Bosman (6), Basani Tshabalala (7) and Zeenat Patel (9) were delighted to be summoned to the principal’s office to each receive their gifts, which contained items that could be used for school.
Georgina Mudako, Aneesha Ramphela and Charisma Makopo, all in grade 4, presented Mhlongo with gifts and cards made by themselves. Mhlongo said it was heart-warming to receive the many birthday cards and good wishes from learners and educators.
“It has been a very special, blessed day thanks to everyone at school,” she said.
