“A 32-year-old man was found hanging in their house and his 25-year-old wife was found in the bathroom with multiple wounds on her body,” he said.
Ngoepe added that the exact date and time of their death is unknown and that the couple were last seen three days ago.
“Police were summoned after the community noticed flies surrounding the house,” he said.
The motive behind this incident and the circumstances thereof are still not clear but domestic violence can’t be ruled out.
“Communities are still encouraged to consult their local professionals for intervention whenever they are in any domestic related situations, rather that resorting to violence,” Ngoepe concluded.
