After 27 years in the industry Voorpos Short-Term Insurance Advisors in Polokwane has been selected to receive the most prestigious Business Initiative Directions (BID) Quality Award in the gold category during the International BID Quality Convention in Geneva in Switzerland this past weekend.
The award is the result of the research and analysis carried out by Quality Hunters, leaders, entrepreneurs and experts in Quality, directed by BID and BID Group One, to recognise the contribution of Voorpos Short-Term Insurance Advisors in terms of leadership, quality, innovation and excellence.
In summary comment from Geneva, Voorpos Head of Operations and Business Development Melvin Duvenage said they were extremely grateful that their hard work and initiatives were being noticed and recognised internationally. “This award is especially significant, because it aligns with our core brand promise of quality and excellence.”
He stressed the importance of client service, saying that Voorpos was established in 1991 and since its inception they have focussed on building long-standing relationships with clients, suppliers, employees and the community. “Our customer-focussed roots remain at the heart of who we are and we work very hard to earn our stakeholders’ trust. The economy affects everyone, but it is imperative not to lose sight of your objectives and to continue to give your everything every day.”
On their success recipe, he said they believed that their success was owed to their team’s hard work, as well as the support of their clients, insurers and community.
“We always aim to invest in our employees in terms of training and providing them with the resources needed to perform optimally. We have a culture of quality, excellence and trust.”
Voorpos Director Kobie Duvenage expressed amazement and surprise at the news about the company having won the award and said she was very proud of the staff complement for adjusting to continuous development and renewal in order to render a quality service to clients.
She indicated that nothing would have been possible without the efforts of Melvin and Scharp Digital owner Janneke de Vos, who maintains their social media presence, website and public relations who constantly introduced innovation to the business.
De Vos joined the Voorpos Short-Term Insurance Advisors team abroad for the collection of the award.
Hailed for her contribution towards their success, the team at Voorpos expressed gratitude towards her and said “Without her outstanding work towards promoting our brand we would not have been recognised by this international organisation promoting quality, innovation and excellence. Its a great honour and even bigger pleasure to work with someone like her whose contribution is exemplary of what our company can do for our clients.”
