Former Mrs Polokwane finalist gives back to the community
Esther Mamikie Mosima, Mrs Polokwane 2018 finalist, recently donated 200 packs of sanitary pads to a disadvantaged community.

POLOKWANE – Keeping to her word, Esther Mamikie Mosima decided to help develop and empower the youth by giving back to the community.

In doing so, Esther empowered young girls through a donation of almost 200 packs of sanitary pads, cleaning material, stationary, snacks and presents.

“I want to make a difference in the lives of other people. Just to put a smile on a child’s face is more than enough,” Esther said.
She made the donation along with representatives from Boxer and Berel Mamabolo at Nape Primary School on 28 March.
“Most of our models attended their primary school there and they saw it as an opportunity to give back to their own community,”

They also hosted a fun day at the school with modeling beauty pageants.
The winners of Mr and Miss Nape Primary School are:
• Queen: Thandeka Mbatha
• First princess: Nkoana Khuto
• Second Princess: Sebola Ramasela.
• King: Tladi Alie.
• First Prince: Mogale Makola
• Second Prince: Mannye Surprise.
Besides the donations, fun day and pageant, there were also motivational talks on peer pressure, teenage pregnancy and alcohol and drug abuse, among other things.
