More than 800 students from Capricorn College for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) were bestowed with Diplomas and National Certificate Vocational (NCV) level four certificates during the college’s graduation ceremony at Bolivia Lodge last Tuesday.
According to a statement released by the college, the graduation ceremony was held for successful candidates in three faculties namely general and utility studies, business, and engineering.
Six graduates received merit awards for obtaining a number of distinctions.
Acting principal, Amos Thema expressed pride in their students’ accomplishments: “Your graduation is the culmination of many years of hard work and sacrifices so cherish the moment and celebrate your achievements and continue to make us proud as you embark on a journey to next chapter of your lives,” he reportedly said.
College Council Chairperson, Walter Tshamano was quoted to have encouraged the graduates to salute their parents, guardians, spouses and other family or community members who had supported them through their studies.
