POLOKWANE – According to a statement issued by the Polokwane Municipality, the reservoir levels continue to be critically low which has resulted in water shortages in high catchment areas within the city
“All stakeholders are urged to use water sparingly due to some of the city and Seshego reservoirs continue to be critically low. This has resulted in high catchment areas in parts of Seshego, Flora Park, Serala View to experience water shortages.”
They further urge residents in areas with water supply to use the water for domestic use only.
“Watering of lawns and gardens is highly discouraged. All water must be conserved now, including underground water from boreholes as this is another source of supply,” they concluded.
