Khaya Restoration Rikhotso was found by a passerby in nearby bushes

LIMPOPO – Police in Maake, outside Tzaneen, are investigating the death of Khaya Restoration Rikhotso (05) from Hoveni village.

According to police spokesperson, Col Maotshe Ngoepe, Rikhotso was allegedly found by a passerby in the surrounding bushes following a massive search operation by the police, his family and the local community.

Rikhotso went missing on 6 September 2018 after his grandmother noticed he was no longer in the yard where he had been playing.

“The Circumstances around the victim’s death is subject to ongoing police investigations and a case of inquest has been opened.
