Two suspects arrested after stolen car found wrecked on Market Street
The mystery surrounding a wrecked car that was found on the morning of 26 October at corner Hospital and Market street is closer to being solved.
POLOKWANE – The silver Ford car matches the description of a vehicle that was reported to have been stolen between 04:30 and 05:30 from corner Grobler and Market streets on Friday morning, 26 October.

“A 39-year-old motorist parked the car and went to buy something and when he returned, the car was gone. He sought assistance from police that were in the area,” said Polokwane police spokesperson Warrant Officer Lesiba Ramoshaba.
The car was found wrecked next to the Game complex and two occupants, a male and a female, both in their 30’s were found in the car. “The two suspects believed to be from Solomondale were arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and will appear in court this week. The investigation continues to determine determine the cause of the accident and whether there were other suspects,” he said.
