Ways to make your first Christmas with your little one, memorable
A baby's first Christmas is always special and must be celebrated in such a way that memories are created to last a lifetime
POLOKWANE – Review spoke to first time parents Mokgadi Makwala and Eric Adams about how they celebrated their first Christmas together and what they got up to as a family.
“Bohlale was only 5-months-old and we were both excited to be celebrating our first Christmas together. As per norm, we planned for matching outfits for the day and were very specific about what we were going to wear as we wanted to look beautiful in our photos.We started the day with church then lunch with the family and later on had an intimate moment at a restaurant, just the three of us. We took lots of photos and put them in our family album and social media to share our first experience,” explained Mokgadi Makwala.

Here are a few ways to ensure that great memories are created:
1. One could make a hand or foot print ornament of the child with time and date, mother and father frame and put on the wall.

4. Presents such as knitted Christmas jerseys or a huge sock with a name and date printed on.
5. Take your child to meet Santa Clause and capture the moment, if possible get in the photo, if baby cries comfort him or her, but ensure to capture the moment, with tears or smiles.
6. Create a sentimental holiday card, with date and time.
7. Take a photo of your child under the Christmas tree surrounded by gifts and all the Christmas tree lights.
