[WATCH] Review gets the full story behind the recent flooding at Savannah Mall
Savannah Mall has been flooded more than once during the past two months, following heavy rains.

POLOKWANE – Savannah Mall Manager, Sanel Honiball said the flooding was the result of a lot of rain falling in a relatively short time, leading to the flooding of some shops and the parking area. She has shown Review where the water converges at the lowest point before flowing to the point where it flooded the mall and it’s parking area.
The water flows from the top of the incline to the western and eastern side of Thabo Mabeki Street to the lowest point where it converges. This point is also the place where more than one storm water pipe from the Ster Park areas coverage… this water is joined by water from a storm water drain in the street, where storm water is diverted from the road.
