38 drunk drivers arrested in Northam over a period of two days
MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo, Makoma Makhurupetje has commended traffic officials for a job well done.
LIMPOPO – A total of 38 drunk drivers have been arrested by Limpopo Traffic Officials over the past two days, says spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Taueatsoala.

The arrests were all made in Northam in the Waterberg District with 18 arrests made on Friday, 22 February, and 20 on Saturday, 23 February.
MEC Makoma Makhurupetje has commended the arrests and has urged traffic officials to continue their duties without fear or favour.

She has also warned against drunk driving as she says this is a major contributor to many of the accidents that occur on Limpopo’s roads.
