Saturday’s rugby and hockey challenge at Mitchell House saw the home teams achieving mixed success.
The Mitchell House girls’ hockey teams won both their matches against Hoërskool Eric Louw High School from Musina. The rugby teams were, however, not so successful and lost both matches. The u.15s lost 0-27 and the first team lost with 7-60.
Director of Sport Fred Romijn congratulated the winners. “Well done to the boys and girls. The teams played competently in their respective matches, remained calm under pressure and represented both schools well,” Romijn said.
