[TAKE NOTE] R81 and R578 roads affected by protest action

LIMPOPO – The R81 road between Giyani and  Mooketsi has been closed at Nwamankena aand the R578 road is closed closed at Hlaniki. These road closures are due to protest action where the communities are demanding tarred roads, says Spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala.

The roads have been closed since 05:00 this morning and motorists traveling from Polokwane to Giyani are advised to travel via the R529 road to Letsitele and then join R71 road, he concludes.
