Flora Park and Fauna Park once again affected by an unplanned electricity outage

The municipality says repairs will take around six hours to complete.

POLOKWANE – The Municipality says they are working on restoring power supply to Fauna Park, Flora Park and Serala View. This, after a contractor working on a water project accidentally cut power cables from the Sterpark substation.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says residents and businesses in Flora Park, Fauna Park and Ivydale were affected by the same problem yesterday.

“Power supply will be restored once the problem is fixed within an estimated six hours. All users are urged to treat all electrical wiring as live to avoid injury and damage,” he concluded.
