PEPPS College Grade 9 learners had an opportunity to create and host their own business stalls as part of their project-based learning curriculum during the institution’s Entrepreneurs’ Day that was hosted at the school last Wednesday.
Learners had to brainstorm and execute their business plans by considering aspects such as costing, revenue and profit. PEPPS communication and marketing officer Millisa Naidoo indicated that the day was filled with creativity and diversity where learners had their platforms to exhibit unique business ideas and talents.
This gave them a glimpse into what having a real business would be like, she explained. Naidoo reiterated that participants were inventive, innovative and lived up to the school slogan as they contributed to creating tomorrow’s leaders by displaying their leadership skills and putting them into practice.
