Accident on Matlala road claims two

A head-on collision between two bakkies on the Matlala road at Kortong village on Tuesday afternoon claimed the lives of two people.
A report on the accident from Department of Transport and Community Safety Spokesperson Joel Seabi was still awaited at the time of going to print but he confirmed at least two fatalities.
An accident on the corner of Lawton Street and the N1 was also reported on Tuesday. According to information no-one was seriously injured. It is believed that one of the drivers of the two vehicles involved did not obey the traffic lights, leading to the accident.
