LIMPOPO – The province has welcomed at least 294 new babies on New Year’s Day.
MEC for Health, Dr Phophi Ramathuba says the total number comprises 154 girls and 140 boys born on 1 January.
37 babies were born to teenage mothers and two girls were born at 00:00 at Siloam Hospital and Tshilidzini Hospital respectively.
