[TAKE NOTE] Ebenezer water supply line temporarily closed for repairs

Residents of the city and surrounding areas are hereby notified of an urgent water supply interruption by Lepelle Northern Water (LNW).

POLOKWANE – LNW have temporarily stopped the supply of water from the Ebenezer line to allow technicians to repair a leak along the pipeline. The repairs will take around four hours to complete and the areas which will be affected include Segwashi, Mentz, Mankweng, Polokwane and Seshego.

Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala in a statement says this stoppage comes at a time when municipal water sources are under strain due to the various challenges the municipality experienced over the weekend. Read more on these challenges in this week’s Polokwane Review

“Normal water supply will be restored once the LNW team has completed the maintenance, however water may still take some time to reach all areas of supply.”

Water related issues can be reported on municipal water helpline at 015 290 2376 / 2629.
