Limpopo Premier shuffles Executive Council
Premier, Chupu Mathabatha says he trusts that these changes will add the required value in increasing service delivery, and more importantly, the improvement of the lives of people of Limpopo province.

POLOKWANE – The Premier, Chupu Mathabatha on Monday made certain changes to the Executive Council.
According to a media statement by the Office of the Premier, the changes come after an assessment of the performance of the provincial government in carrying out its constitutional mandate over the past ten months of the sixth administration. Mathabatha said he trusts that these changes will add the required value in increasing service delivery, and more importantly, the improvement of the lives of people of Limpopo province.
These changes are with immediate effect.
The Limpopo Executive Council has therefore been reconfigured as follows:
MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure: Dickson Masemola.
MEC for Transport and Community Safety: Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya.
MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs: Basikopo Makamu.MEC for Provincial Treasury: Seaparo Sekwati.
MEC for Health: Phophi Ramathuba.
MEC for Education: Polly Boshielo.
MEC for Social Development: Nkakareng Rakgwale.
MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism: Thabo Mokone.
MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development: Nandi Ndalane.MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture: Thandi Moraka.
At the time of going to print it was unclear who would take up the Speaker’s position.
