LIMPOPO – The police in the Alldays policing area outside have confiscated 23 boxes of illicit cigarettes with an estimated value of R307 441.

The police conducted their patrol duties at around 22:00 last night when they spotted a suspicious motor vehicle according to Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

“Two suspects, aged 29 and 35, were nabbed while transporting the illicit cigarettes. Their motor vehicle was also confiscated,” Ngoepe said.

The two will appear before the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 22 June and Ngoepe added that police investigations are still continuing.
