Polokwane leads new Covid-19 cases in the province

A total of 110 cases has been recorded across the province, as well as one more death.

LIMPOPO – The Department of Health has confirmed that the province recorded 110 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total cases to 1 302.

Of the 110 cases, Polokwane recorded the most new cases with 26, according to the department. The number of deaths in the city remains at six.

One more death has been recorded, which is also the first death in the Collins Chabane area.

The other new cases include 15 in the Mopani district, 20 in the Sekhukhune, 17 in Vhembe and 27 in the Waterberg district.

The number of active cases stands at 688 while 604 people have recovered and 13 people have died from the virus.
