Limpopo police stations close due to positive Covid-19 cases
According to the police, staffers tested Covid-19 positive at all the affected stations

LIMPOPO – The police stations in Letsitele, Cumberland, Dennilton, Musina, Nebo and Tshilwavhusikhu have temporarily closed their doors following suspected Covid-19 cases. This week alone saw the temporary closures of the stations at the Mahwelereng, Saselamani, Zaaiplaas areas after positive Covid-19 cases were reported. Several units at the Lebowakgomo police station were also affected.
In a statement the police confirmed that staffers tested positive for the virus at all the affected stations. The buildings will be temporarily closed for disinfection.
Temporary arrangements have been put in place at all locations for the provision of policing services:
In Letsitele, residents wanting to access policing services are advised to make use of the old Community Service Center which is situated in the same yard as the current police station. They are also advised to contact the Operational Command Center at 015 3062210 or 079 801 4522 to access the station.
In Nebo, residents can visit a temporary Community Service Center which is situated inside the police station premises, about 300 meters at the back of the affected building. For emergencies they can also contact 079 890 5825.
Tshilwavhusikhu: services are temporarily rendered from the married quarters at the back of the police station and is inside the yard. Emergency no. 0798900921

All the stations will again be fully operational on Monday 13 July.
