Muni attending to fallen street light in Bekker Street

Review received several complaints from residents who said the light had fallen across the street and that it had been obstructing traffic for a few days 

POLOKWANE – A fallen street light in Bekker Street, Fauna Park is currently being attended to by municipal officials. The Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala confirmed to Review that the light had been reported and the pole removed from the street to allow for traffic flow.

“We do not know what caused the light to fall but a contractor has been activated to repair it. Our team is working to ensure that it is fixed,” Selala said.
