LIMPOPO – A truck has overturned on the George’s Valley road (R528) and has blocked all the lanes.

As a result, the road in the Mopani District has been temporarily closed.

“Emergency personnel are on the site to clear the road,” Transport and Community Safety media liaison officer, Mike Maringa, said in a statement.

Maringa advised motorist who are travelling between Tzaneen and Polokwane, to use the Magoebaskloof road (R71).

“Trucks and other heavy duty vehicles are advised to use the R81,” he concluded.
