Bonus journalist crowned sports Photographer of the Year
Bonus journalist, Maseo Nethanani says his win has motivated him to continue working hard and polish his photography skills even further.

POLOKWANE – Bonus journalist, Maseo Nethanani was, on Friday, crowned Photographer of the Year at the 2020 Sports Awards hosted by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture at The Ranch Resort.
Maseo, who writes sport, community and entertainment news for the publication says winning the award was a dream come true.
“I never thought I would win. I was up against journalists such as Ofhani Munyai, Herbert Rachuene, and Joshua Sebola, yet here I am, crowned Photographer of the Year,” he said, elated.
Maseo says his win has motivated him to continue working hard and polish his photography skills even further.
“Born in a rural village didn’t stop me from realising my dreams,” he said.
Maseo is now based in Luthuli 9L and says one thing he enjoys about his work is interacting with people from different ethnic groups.
He adds that it was not easy penetrating the industry but he is now making his parents proud.
