Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases stand at 28 244
Limpopo recorded a further 844 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24-hours.
LIMPOPO – According to the Limpopo Health Department’s latest statistics, the province has a total of 5 297 active cases of Covid-19. This after the province recorded an extra 844 new positive cases in the last 24-hours.
As of 5 January, 22 322 people have recovered while 625 have passed away. The Polokwane Municipality remains the leader of the pack with 8 594 cumulative positive cases and 211 deaths.
of the new cases reported; Capricorn district had the most new cases (375), followed by Mopani (162), Vhembe (134), Waterberg (92) and Sekhukhune (80).
The most new cases were recorded in Polokwane (330) followed by Tzaneen (65) and Thulamela (39).
