LIMPOPO – From Disney magic at Mall of the North to an Oktoberfest celebration in Magoebaskloof, there is plenty to keep Limpopo residents entertained this weekend.

October 2-4 – Disney at Mall of the North

Mickey Mouse and friends will visit Mall of the North from October 2 to 4 at the Game court. Entry is free, so bring the family and enjoy the holiday vibes. Three days of Disney fun and one magical Disney experience awaits shoppers.

October 3 – Funday at Capricorn Racing Club

Entries at 9:00 AM, bike entry R150, riders’ briefing from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Spectators free. Cash bar and boerewors rolls available.

October 4 – The Ultimate Inflatable Challenge

South Africa’s biggest inflatable obstacle course is ready to be enjoyed at Mall of the North until October 4.

Tickets are R150 per person for full-day access from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the overflow parking. Socks are compulsory. Gather your family and friends, bring your camping chairs and make a day of it. For more information call 060 632 8284.

October 4 – Langenhoven se Ruimtedroom

October 10 – Oktoberfest 2026

Join Hiesterhof for the annual Oktoberfest celebration featuring live music by the Velvet Sounds Oompah Band on October 10. Gates open at 12:00 PM, and there will be lots of specials throughout the day. Tickets are R500 per person or R4,500 per table of 10 people. Included in the ticket price are an Eisbein or Frankfurter and a draught served at 7:00 PM. No under 18s. Tickets are available at Hiesterhof, or call 071 051 8402 to book.
