Blood stocks are critically low and SANBS encourages anyone who is 16 years and older, weighs more than 50 kg and lives a healthy live to donate blood. Here is where you can donate blood this month.
POLOKWANE – During March the South African Blood Service (SANBS) will host blood clinics at a school and several malls and shopping centres within the Polokwne municipal area.
Blood stocks are critically low and SANBS encourages anyone who is 16 years and older, weighs more than 50 kg and lives a healthy live to donate blood.
By donating blood you can save up to three lives. A unit of blood only lasts 42 days after donation and, for this reason, it is important for blood donors to donate regularly. You can donate blood every 56 days.
