[WATCH] ‘We look forward to a prosperous relationship with Enterprise Foods’

Capricorn District Municipality Mayor, John Mpe conducted an oversight visit at Enterprise Foods earlier today to inspect factory operations.

POLOKWANE- Capricorn District Municipality Mayor, John Mpe, officially welcomed the new management of Enterprise Foods which has become a subsidiary of Country Bird Holdings that took over from Tigerbrands in November last year.

The Enterprise factory was closed for almost three years after the listeriosis outbreak in 2018.

Mpe conducted an oversight visit in the factory earlier today. He was accompanied by members of his mayoral committee who are responsible for community services and environmental health.

Managing Director, Alistair Hayward, says the mayor’s visit is aimed at intensifying relations between the municipality and Enterprise, as it is one of the biggest contributors to employment within the district.

Mpe was treated to a walkabout in the factory, where he was able to have a first hand experience of the processes of the factory along with the safety measures put into place to prevent another outbreak.
