POLOKWANE – This was done by international speaker and life coach, Dr Abikele Washington on 8 April at the school. He gave an insightful talk and among the things he addressed were values, explaining that values are the motives behind purposeful action. “If a motive is not well defined, you will not achieve your goals,” he said.
Principal, Joseph Ntsiene Masekela explained that they invited Dr Washington to motivate the learners as part of their plan for a 100% pass rate this year. “To achieve that requires 90% motivation and 10% hard work. I hope that this session will help to push them to work hard and give the school quality passes,” he said.
Masekela further explained that when he arrived at the school in 2017, he had a five-year plan of things he needs to accomplish at the school and this year the time has come to be in the top 5 schools in the district.
