Polokwane’s water team attending to major pipe leak

The leak has resulted in several areas receiving no water supply, explains Polokwane Municipality's spokesperson Thipa Selala.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality is attending to a major pipe leak which has left several areas in the south of the Polokwane municipal area with water.

Areas affected include parts of Penina Park, Nirvana and properties along Marshall Street.

According to municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala the water team is on the site to repair the leak and restore water supply to the affected areas. “In the meantime, the municipality will deploy water tankers to the area to provide temporary relief,” he concludes.
