She is the deputy president of the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) and says the year leaves little time for rest.
“The work is not that difficult compared to last year, but the effort that you have to put in is a lot. There is no time to rest at all.”
She added that she is enjoying her reign as the deputy president of the RCL.
“It came unexpectedly but I was grateful that my fellow learners had faith in my abilities. Covid-19 has made it difficult to keep everyone motivated despite having to forfeit certain events that usually take place during the year. That used to be the fun part of being on the RCL.”
She says she wants to pursue a career in the medical field once she has matriculated.
“The competition and how hard it is to get accepted into university is what motivates me. The worst that can happen is not to qualifying for what I want to study and the thought of not studying what I want to, motivates me, because I cannot see myself doing anything else.”
She shared that some of the things she is going to miss about high school is being with her friends.
Her advice is to go over everything that you have not grasped yet, and study as much as you can. Taking breaks is also essential. People need to do away with the misconception that taking breaks is to the detriments.
In her spare time, she ventures onto the YouTube Channel she has with her best friend, called Dora and Musa.
