POLOKWANE – It was a beautiful occasion as the teachers were celebrated for their tremendous contribution to the school and society in its entirety.
Teacher Elizabeth Mthombeni explained that the day was about celebrating the rare and special species that women are.
She added that a lot of the women carry heavy burdens because they want to be everything and do everything.
“I urge you to not carry the burden alone. Give it to God, he will help you to pull through, no matter what it is,” she said.
Fellow teacher William Mathipa gave a message of support on behalf of the other male teachers.
He stated that God has given women a great assignment and that is to protect under any circumstances.
“A woman is a protector, under all circumstances, good or bad, she is always there to protect,” he said.
