POLOKWANE – Sade was a part of the provincial u/17 team that took the seventh position at the event on October 2. She says the opportunity to play against the top young netball players in the country strengthened her and brought her closer to becoming a national netball player in the future.
“The tournament on its own was challenging, but I learned a lot and I enjoyed the experience. I learned the values of teamwork and how one can achieve a lot through hard work and commitment. I have ambitions to play for the national team and for me to achieve that I need to play more of these provincial events.”
Northern Academy marketer Makhanani Chabalala said they are proud of Sade’ s achievements and wish her the best in her netball endeavours.
“As a school we are extremely proud of Sade. She also happens to be one of the leaders selected for 2022, so she is the perfect example of the well-rounded learner we aim to produce here at Northern Academy.”
