Power Tower Drive Limpopo draws a big crowd
Power Tower Drive Limpopo was a huge success last Saturday at Thornhill Shopping Complex where residents showed up in numbers to hand in their donations.
POLOKWANE – This was an initiative where Mrs Limpopo 2021/22 and Limpopo drive coordinator, Valentia Chuene requested Limpopo residents to donate food, clothes, sanitary towels or anything they do not need anymore or feel they should donate. All these donations were donated to five districts: Capricorn, Vhembe, Mopani, Sekhukhune and Waterberg.
Valentia, some residents and her team who included, among others, Mrs Limpopo 2021/22 first princess Jeanette Ventera, second princess Jolene du Bruyn, Mr Limpopo 2021/22 Shaahid Farouk Valjie, Limpopo provincial director and coordinator for the RoleModels Foundation and Mrs Limpopo 2019/20 Lize Botha and Miss Teen of South Africa first princess Refilwe Malatji worked together to make the Power Tower Drive a success.
“Thanks to everyone who came through to the drive and supported us on the day. A huge thank you to everyone who formed part of our Limpopo team. We will also do a Christmas tour soon and share that with our community. Our aim is to touch lives and bring hope to those who need it the most,” Valentia said.
