[WATCH] Havoc in Polokwane CBD

Municipal traffic spokesperson Kgaugelo Mphago confirmed that a vehicle sped off of a second level parking area in the CBD.

POLOKWANE – Traffic remains backed up in Grobler Street due to the earlier incident.

A Review journalist was on the scene to view the chaos left behind after a vehicle crashed through the upper level’s wall and fell onto the side of the road.


POLOKWANE – Grobler Street between Landdros Maré and Schoeman streets are partially closed.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, although municipal traffic spokesperson Kgaugelo Mphago explained that traffic is flowing in the area.

“The driver of the vehicle has sustained injuries and no fatalities have been recorded. Police and emergency services are on the scene,” he explained.
