International Arts Talent Showcase to host auditions in Polokwane

Those interested are urged to pre-register ahead of time in order for preparation and audition requirements to be sent before physical auditions.

POLOKWANE – Are you a Polokwane native aspiring to be an actor, singer, dancer or model and dream of making it big in the entertainment industry?

Africa’s largest talent convention, the International Arts Talent Showcase (IATS) will host auditions at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on Saturday (June 10).

IATS talent scout and producer Elsubie Louwrens is encouraging arts enthusiasts to seize the opportunity to launch their career in the entertainment industry.

Each year, Louwrens travels throughout South Africa scouting for talent where she not only provides people with an opportunity to showcase their skills, but also provides them with casting opportunities (both locally and internationally) as well as international education.

Those identified from the national round of auditions will be invited to attend the 13th annual IATS set to take place at the Venue Melrose Arch in Johannesburg soon.

Selected actors, models, singers and dancers will get to perform for international industry professionals that include representatives from Tyler Perry Studios, The Voice America, America’s Got Talent, Ford Models New York and Grammy nominated producers among others.

These panelists will select finalists to attend the largest model and talent convention in the world in New York City.

“Being in the link between South Africa and the fashion and entertainment industry is my ultimate purpose and making a difference in the lives of young aspiring talents is life changing for me,” Louwrens said.

She most recently secured $17.4m in international scholarships for young artists.

Those interested are urged to pre-register ahead of time in order for preparation and audition requirements to be sent before physical auditions.
