Zandile to fly Limpopo’s flag high in Turkey
As Mr King of the Universe 2023, Sathura got an opportunity to represent the country on the international stage in Turkey later this year.
POLOKWANE – “It is not the size of the crown on your head, but the love in your heart, that determines your royalty. Anyone can wear a sash and crown, but only royalty use it. The Power of the Sash is to change the world, one act of kindness at a time.”
This is the motto that the Pageants SA competition lives by.
Representing Limpopo in the recent competition was Zondile Sathura who won the Mr Pageants SA King of the Universe 2023 national competition in Pretoria, after he won Mr Limpopo Province 2023 in Polokwane.
As Mr King of the Universe 2023, Sathura got an opportunity to represent the country on the international stage in Turkey later this year.
“Being part of a pageant has taught me the same skills as sport; goal-setting, a can-do attitude, and working under pressure, I have always loved pageantry. Being surrounded by a group of powerful men and woman who have the urge to make a difference drives me to work on being a better person as well. Therefore, I believe being part of an international pageant would create such a platform for me. It will open my eyes and mind to a different perspective of life.”
Sathura added that he believes every experience in life, whether bad or good, helps one grow.
“I know I will make my country proud in Turkey, just watch this space.”
