Shooting victim (41) found dead in gym parking area
According to police, the murder occurred at around 21:30 on Tuesday evening.
POLOKWANE – A 41-year-old man was declared dead in the parking area of the gymnasium in Thornhill at around 21:30 on Tuesday evening.
The police in Polokwane confirmed the incident, and identified the deceased as Sakie Ramogale.
Police Spokesperson, Col Malesela Ledwaba said upon their arrival on the scene, the victim was found in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to the neck.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
Acting provincial police commissioner Maj Genl Jan Scheepers condemned the incident calling it brutal and immediately ordered the police to hunt down suspects.
