Sapa Yopa president earns paralegal certificate

Continuing his studies, Martins Antonio aspires to become one of the country’s top lawyers, taking it one step at a time.

POLOKWANE – “You are never too old to study,” said Martins Pico Santana Antonio, president of the Sapa Yopa Motorcycle Club, who recently earned a national certificate in paralegal studies from Nzotho FET College in Polokwane.

A seasoned professional with over two decades in security management, Antonio champions numerous charity programmes across the country. As the director of the MPA Investigation Team, he oversees a diverse range of investigation services worldwide.

Antonio emphasises that achieving academic success requires determination, enthusiasm, and hard work.

“I gained so much from college, and it’s never too late to study. When many couldn’t register at certain institutions because admissions were closed, Nzotho FET College accepted my application. I was so pleased that I never considered changing direction. The college is highly regarded and respected, and it’s one of the best in the country. We need to spread the word that closed admissions aren’t the end of the world,” Antonio said.

Martins ‘Pico Santana’ Antonio recently graduated with a National Certificate in Paralegal from Nzotho FET College in Polokwane.

Continuing his studies, Antonio aspires to become one of the country’s top lawyers, taking it one step at a time.

“We can always do our best if we really want to. Graduating is a joy for anyone and shows a person’s dedication. Although I am very busy, we need to take time to focus on education because it is key to life. We all need each other to build a better society, and it’s hard to keep me away from a good community,” he added.

Antonio expressed pride in his six children, two of whom are now attending university.

“My amazing kids are my inspiration. Having two in university makes me feel like the best father in the world. My school-going children excel, giving me hope every morning. We all know that living without an education is challenging, but there are many ways in which you can learn. Even if you don’t have money, you can find ways to study. It might take 10 years, but one day you will be educated,” he concluded.
